Boes Masks

The Sardinian mask su Boe is among the best-known masks (caratzas in local language) in the entire island, and portrays a fantastic rendering of the bull (su boe), a sacred animal since ancient times.

Entirely made by hand out of wood, these masks are characterized by different decorations such as the flower of life, symbol of prosperity, hope, and good omens.
